Dinner:Tonkotsu Ramen

today i went to Jinboucho. my alma mater is in the town. And there was my favorate shoes shop. But the shop is changed to a suit store!! That was very disappointing.

after that, i went to Ramen shop "Hukunoren". i liked the shop during my university years. But the name was changed... i asked one of the staffs about that. And he told me that they had reopened the ramen shop as "Yoshimaru" last June. "Hukunoren" still exists. What a relief:)

The photo is Tonkotsu("pork bone") Ramen. The soup is made with pork bones. It is usually white. And the rice was topped with Mentaiko.Mentaiko is the marinated roe of pollack. it goes very good with rice! These are the specialty of Hakata, Japan.

On my way home i bought a pair of business shoes at the shop that i had never used. it is not bad. Jinboucho is changing. i had mixed feelings.
